Few words about Gestalt Psychotherapy :

Gestalt is an existential/humanistic approach to understanding what is to be a human, and hence how to offer help to another person. It regards the individual as a totality of mind, body, emotions and spirit who experiences reality in a way unique to themselves.

Gestalt practice always considers the uniqueness of the person in the context of their current situation and also maintains awareness of the past and its relevance. Yet past is finished and can’t be changed all that can be changed is’’ now ‘’.

Change can be achieved if’ "one becomes what he is, not when he tries to be what he is not ‘’(Beisser).


Gestalt is an integrative and holistic practice in which the wholeness of the person is respected it means : feelings, body sensations, awareness of thoughts. This allows helping to resolve internal conflicts and resolve unfinished business.
